Ik Innerlijk Kind

Ik Innerlijk Kind is a coaching and therapy practice in Steggerda, Friesland, led by Audrey Louwsma, a child coach and psychologist. The practice supports children, young people and adults, with a particular focus on helping children aged 4 to 18 build insight, confidence and practical ways to manage challenges. Its approach puts the child’s needs and strengths at the centre, encouraging them to take an active role in their own progress.

Services include short-term child coaching for concerns such as low confidence, fear of failure, grief, sensitivity and social-emotional difficulties. ADHD/ADD coaching offers structured, ongoing support to develop strategies and greater independence. For deeper or longer-term concerns, psychological support is available for issues including anxiety, bullying, sleep problems, grief, behavioural difficulties, autism, eating concerns and parenting challenges. Sessions may use drawing, sandplay, drama, movement, play therapy and Inner Child therapy. The practice aims to help clients recognise their abilities and work with personal challenges in a supportive, positive setting.
