iK Verstaat

Its work brings residents, land users and other stakeholders together to understand one another, develop shared solutions and turn plans into action. Rather than offering ready-made answers, iK Verstaat helps groups find a suitable path toward practical, lasting outcomes. Services include facilitating area-based and group processes, conducting individual kitchen-table conversations, and supporting project development from early ideas through to concrete implementation plans.

The practice also offers writing and the processing of data in geographic information systems (GIS). Its projects address themes such as biodiversity, new nature, circular agriculture, climate adaptation, land subsidence, urban-rural relationships, public participation, sustainable energy and new uses for farmyards. The approach emphasizes change that is financially sound, socially attractive and beneficial to the environment.
