About ILA NIGERIA
ILA Nigeria is the Nigerian branch of the International Law Association, a prestigious organization founded in Brussels in 1873. With consultative status within various United Nations specialized agencies, ILA Nigeria plays a crucial role in promoting and advancing the study and practice of international law. Led by the eminent President, Prof.
Fidelis Oditah QC, SAN, and Vice President, Prof. Damilola S. Olawuyi, ILA Nigeria aims to foster a deeper understanding of international law, both public and private, as well as comparative law.
The organization fosters proposal-making for conflict resolution and law unification. Additionally, it works to enhance global insight into Nigeria's approach to international law and encourages idea exchange among Nigerian legal professionals, academics, advocates, practitioners, and students.
