About Pazyciudadania
Pazyciudadania, also known as the Instituto Latinoamericano para la Paz y la Ciudadanía, is dedicated to promoting a Culture of Peace and Citizenship. They believe in fostering values, attitudes, traditions, and behaviors rooted in respect for Human Rights, Democracy, and peaceful conflict resolution. With a focus on Panama, they understand the importance of social, political, religious, cultural, and intellectual forces coming together to shape a 21st-century Panama.
Offering various initiatives, Pazyciudadania strives to enhance transparency in electoral processes and encourage citizen participation in fostering a Culture of Peace. They also work to strengthen community resilience and improve quality of life through comprehensive disaster risk management. In addition, Pazyciudadania promotes peaceful and respectful relationships within institutions and is involved in decision-making processes, both public and private, to reduce violence in the region.
