Associazione Famiglie Down il bell’Anatroccolo (A.Fa.D) is a social promotion association based in Foggia, Italy. Founded in 2013 by a family with a child with Down syndrome and supported by others who share its aims, the organization works to improve the quality of life of people with intellectual and sensory disabilities and their families. It promotes an inclusive view of people with disabilities as individuals able to contribute creatively to society when given appropriate opportunities.

A.Fa.D offers programs tailored to different ages and needs. CasAfad Baby provides individualized early support, with a speech therapist and professional educator setting goals in consultation with a psychologist. CasAfad Scuola helps school-age participants develop skills for greater independence, with autonomous living as a long-term goal. CasAfad Adulti supports people over 19 through employment guidance, work preparation, work experiences, and support with adult-life challenges. Other activities include Down the Wall, a theatre workshop; Afad CreAzioni, a solidarity craft workshop; and Movida, educator-supported group outings that encourage autonomy and adult participation.
