About ILDS
ILDS, the Institute for Logic and Data Science, is a non-profit research institute dedicated to advancing logic-based and data-oriented scientific methods. With a mission to spread knowledge and promote research in these fields, ILDS conducts various research projects, scientific seminars, and events. One recent seminar talk, The strange case of Dykstra's algorithm, held on July 21, 2023, showcased the expertise of Pedro Pinto from TU Darmstadt.
ILDS also collaborates with LOS for a working seminar introducing type theory, proof theory, and related areas. Moreover, the Logic Seminar series features talks by esteemed speakers, like Marian Călborean from the University of Bucharest and Eugenio Omodeo from the Università degli studi di Trieste. In addition, a joint Logic Seminar with the TCS Seminar presented insights from Elena Grigorescu from Purdue University.
