The Association for Sustainable Agriculture and Rural Environment is a Latvian organization dedicated to building public understanding of agriculture and encouraging the sector’s growth. It promotes dialogue between society and farmers, highlighting responsible ways of working that respect the land, communities, and the environment. The association presents agriculture as an important contributor to Latvia’s economy, food supply, and security, and explains how modern technologies can support efficient, environmentally conscious farming and high-quality production.

Rather than selling agricultural products, the organization shares information and educational resources. Its website features news articles, farmer stories, videos, infographics, and other visual materials covering topics such as pollinator-friendly practices, climate-conscious farming, crop protection, food quality, and the journey from field to table. It also explains integrated agriculture and its role in protecting harvests while limiting the use of chemical plant protection products. Through projects for schoolchildren and young people, the association helps audiences learn about nature, farming, and rural life.
