Il Melograno is a social cooperative based in Cuneo, Italy, founded on 18 December 2006 as the successor to a volunteer association active since 1991. It works to promote inclusion, independence and social wellbeing, particularly for people with disabilities and other vulnerabilities, while serving the wider community and local areas. Its services include day and residential support, social and community participation projects, recreational and educational activities, childcare and a nursery.
Current initiatives include Officina 111, a space for meeting and personal growth; the La Vignola centre; socialisation and meeting centres; children’s services; youth summer programmes; the FuturAbile group; and Casa delle Generazioni. The cooperative also provides catering, cleaning and leisure services. Its work is delivered by qualified staff and reflects a commitment to making opportunities and support more accessible.
