Associazione BUONO is a Rome-based project founded by a group of friends with a shared love of nature. It works to protect bees, conserve biodiversity and encourage respect for the environment, bringing together research, education and practical ways for people to take part. Its work includes studying and monitoring bees and their natural surroundings, alongside initiatives such as the Ventimila Api exploratory project and the #20BUONI educational series.

BUONO offers school learning programmes, hands-on educational workshops, adult workshops and sensory experiences. Visitors can also explore resources and activities designed to help shape their own teaching programmes. The association invites supporters to contribute through donations, participation in its projects and by purchasing its honey, which it presents as a result of its nature-conscious work. Other initiatives include Beehotel BUONO and BUONO Semina, encouraging engagement with the natural world from home, school or work.
