About Ilosaarirock Festival
Ilosaarirock is a renowned music festival that takes place annually in Joensuu. The festival, which will be held from July 12th to 14th, 2024, showcases a diverse range of music genres and fosters an unforgettable experience for music enthusiasts. One of the most anticipated acts this year is the sensational comeback of PMMP.
Formed in 2003, PMMP has grown to become not only a highly successful band but also a generational phenomenon. With nine Emma Awards and seven albums released, PMMP has captivated Finnish audiences year after year, thanks to their colossal hits and energetic, no-holds-barred live performances. The band has a long-standing history with Ilosaarirock, having enchanted festival-goers in Eastern Finland multiple times since 2005.
