About Alliance Appalachia
iLoveMountains. org is a collaborative effort involving 14 local, state, and regional organizations in Appalachia dedicated to ending mountaintop removal coal mining and fostering a prosperous future for the region. Through innovative technology and grassroots campaigns, members of the Alliance for Appalachia, including Appalachian Voices, Black Warrior Riverkeeper, and Sierra Club Environmental Justice Projects, work tirelessly to inform and engage Americans in their mission to protect mountains and communities.
The movement's unofficial motto, "I Love Mountains," resonates throughout the region, advocating for sustainable practices and environmental justice. From educational resources to advocacy programs, iLoveMountains. org offers a platform to support and amplify the voices of those fighting against destructive mining practices.
