About Innovation Leaders Summit
The Innovation Leaders Summit (ILS) is the largest open innovation matching event in Asia, established in 2014 with the support of the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry. Its main goal is to match large corporations with startups to create innovative new businesses. The flagship program of ILS is the Power Matching, where 625 promising startups recommended by 102 leading VCs and government agencies and 105 large companies participate.
In just four days, 2,890 matching negotiations took place, resulting in 969 collaboration opportunities that the large companies expressed interest in re-negotiating. With a precise matching program where one out of three negotiations leads to collaboration, ILS enables companies to rapidly advance their open innovation initiatives. The event is organized by the Innovation Leaders Summit Executive Committee and supported by various government and financial institutions.
