Il Sorriso Dell'Anima

Il Sorriso dell’Anima ONLUS is an Italian nonprofit association for families and friends of people with disabilities, based in Cesano Maderno, in the province of Monza and Brianza. Its work focuses on supporting care, family inclusion and participation in community life. The association also helps families find information and guidance on legal, educational and cultural matters, while encouraging mutual support around education, rehabilitation and social inclusion.

Its activities combine practical support, creative experiences and opportunities to spend time together. Casa di Giada offers temporary residential stays where participants can build independence through everyday activities, such as shopping, cooking and taking part in local outings. Other initiatives include theatre and art workshops, aquatic and gym-based psychomotor activities, Saturday social gatherings, group trips and accessible summer holidays for people with disabilities and their families. The association also promotes community projects, including Sugher-Eroi, a cork-recycling campaign involving local businesses, schools and organizations. Through its programs and events, Il Sorriso dell’Anima aims to foster inclusion, autonomy and meaningful connections among people with disabilities, their families, volunteers and the wider community.
