Image Navigation is a dental technology company focused on improving the accuracy and safety of dental implant procedures. Its flagship product, the IGI 2.0 Hybrid Surgical Navigation and Robotics System, combines real-time surgical navigation with a robotic auto-stop feature to help dentists plan and place implants with precision. IGI 2.0 uses TRAX, a real-time tracking system, to guide instrument trajectory, angle, and depth, and MiniLOCK, a patient-to-tracker connection intended to maintain accuracy throughout the workflow. Dentists can plan procedures using patient CT scans and the company’s tools or third-party planning software, then attach MiniLOCK chairside before carrying out the implant plan. Image Navigation reports that IGI 2.0 is approved for sale in Israel and Europe and is seeking FDA clearance in the United States.
