About IMAGINE PEACE TOWER
**Imagine Peace Tower** is a captivating outdoor artwork conceived by Yoko Ono, dedicated to the enduring message of peace championed by her late husband, John Lennon. Located on Viðey Island in Reykjavík, Iceland, this Tower of Light symbolizes love and unity, inviting individuals worldwide to connect through shared wishes for peace. The installation features a tall, shimmering beacon that illuminates from October 9th, John’s birthday, until December 8th, the anniversary of his passing, alongside special illuminations during significant dates, including Yoko’s birthday and the Winter Solstice.
Inscribed with the phrase "IMAGINE PEACE" in 24 languages, the tower transforms with Iceland's atmospheric conditions, allowing it to sparkle with iridescent colors during inclement weather or create a striking pillar of light on clear nights. Invite the spirit of hope and goodwill by sending your wishes to the Imagine Peace Tower, celebrating a legacy that began in the 1960s and continues to inspire movements toward world peace
