Island Mountain Arts is a brand that celebrates and explores the deep connection between art and our forests. With a focus on the nurturing and composition of our natural landscapes, they aim to provide a platform for artists, researchers, and the community to engage with the intersection of utility and interpretation. Island Mountain Arts, in collaboration with the Wells-Barkerville Community Forest, offers a range of programs and services.

They provide an artist-in-residence program, where artists can immerse themselves in the inspiring surroundings and create meaningful projects. Additionally, they organize workshops for both beginners and experienced artists, covering various art forms and techniques. The brand also hosts the Northern Exposure conference, bringing together facilitators, speakers, and panelists to discuss and showcase the relationship between art and nature.

Through their commitment to fostering creativity and environmental awareness, Island Mountain Arts is a beacon for artists seeking inspiration in the beauty of our forests
