Imatran Ratsastajat ry, commonly known as IRa, is a long-established riding club in Imatra, Finland, founded in 1982. Its riding school is approved by the Finnish Equestrian Federation, and the club is recognised as a Tähtiseura by the Finnish Olympic Committee. IRa welcomes riders and horse enthusiasts to participate in lessons, club activities and events.
The riding school offers regular lessons from Monday to Saturday during the autumn and spring terms, with short teaching periods, camps and evening lessons available during holidays. Lessons can be booked through Hopoti. The club also provides coaching, riding camps and courses, and hosts show-jumping and dressage competitions. For younger members, pony and horse clubs offer opportunities to develop horsemanship skills and take part in group activities.
The stable accommodates up to 28 horses, including the club’s school horses and privately owned horses, with stable spaces available for rent. Facilities include an indoor riding arena and outdoor areas.
