IMGPrep is an evidence-based academic consultancy serving international medical graduates who are preparing to enter U.S. graduate medical education. Established in 2005 and based in Fairfax, Virginia, the company helps applicants understand how residency programs screen, review, interview, and rank candidates. Its approach centers on building a strong fit between each applicant’s strengths, goals, experience, and the mission and opportunities of individual programs, rather than relying on application volume or generic advice.

IMGPrep offers structured residency match consulting, including profile reviews, gap analysis, and individualized planning. Its services also include supervised U.S. clinical experience opportunities, a data-driven residency program list tailored to factors such as scores, visa status, and timeline, and ERAS document support for personal statements, experiences, and application narratives. Applicants can also receive one-to-one interview preparation, including specialty-specific scenarios and response strategy.

IMGPrep describes its guidance as program-specific and informed by NRMP and ACGME data. It reports more than two decades of experience and shares aggregate Match outcomes while noting that it does not guarantee results.
