Imire is a renowned brand dedicated to protecting wildlife and promoting sustainable environmental management in Zimbabwe. With a strong belief in the harmonious coexistence of rural communities and conservation programs, Imire strives to enhance the relationship between tourism, conservation, and community areas. They create awareness globally about the wildlife and poaching crisis threatening Zimbabwe and Africa, as well as the challenges faced by local communities and conservation organizations.

Imire's primary focus is the protection and breeding of critically endangered Black and White Rhinoceros. Their world-renowned Black Rhino Breeding Programme has successfully released 11 rhinos into the wild, contributing to the conservation of Zimbabwe's heritage. Recently, Imire was chosen by The Aspinall Foundation for a cheetah rewilding project, allowing captive-born cheetahs to be reintroduced into Zimbabwe, a first for the country.

Imire remains a family-run venture, overseen by John and Judy Travers. Their operations include Imire Lodge, offering unforgettable stays and game-viewing experiences, and a volunteer program providing opportunities to work with endangered animals. Imire also collaborates with various partners, including The Aspinall Foundation and SAVE African Rhino Foundation, to support conservation efforts.
