IMIZI Cyber

IMIZI Cyber is an offensive security company based in Kigali, Rwanda, serving regulated institutions across Africa. It provides manual penetration testing, vulnerability assessments and penetration testing (VAPT), and managed security services for banks, fintechs, telecoms, government, healthcare and other regulated organisations. Its testing covers web applications, networks, mobile applications, APIs and cloud environments, with findings verified through hands-on exploitation rather than automated scanning alone.

The company also offers penetration testing and assessments aligned with BNR Regulation N° 50/2022, including reporting to support regulatory filing. Its managed-security services include continuous external attack-surface monitoring, vulnerability triage, fix verification and BNR-aligned guidance; security awareness is available through phishing simulations. Engagements typically include scoping, a fixed-price proposal, manual testing, a written report with evidence and remediation steps, and one included re-test round. Testing is led by OSCP-credentialled practitioner Aristofanis Chionis Koufakos, who holds PNPT certification and brings banking and pan-African penetration-testing experience.
