NAIJTF

The Needham Area Immigration Justice Task Force is a community-focused organization that promotes actions and policies welcoming and supporting immigrants in Needham and beyond. It connects residents with information, opportunities to get involved, and practical resources related to immigration and workers’ rights. The task force shares updates on Massachusetts immigration policy and legislation, explains immigration terminology and common myths, and provides guidance for allies who want to become advocates. Its website also directs visitors to immigrant resources through the MIRA website and offers information about legal support, including the Massachusetts Access to Counsel Initiative intake line and the Luce Hotline for reporting suspected ICE activity.

The organization hosts events, publishes news and updates, and invites community members to join its newsletter and participate in advocacy. Its projects include Casa, a mutual aid fund supported through donations, as well as workers’ rights resources, wage theft information, and the Defenders of Justice: A Gratitude Project. Through education, community engagement, fundraising, and policy advocacy, the task force helps local residents support immigrant communities.
