Immortal Guardians Motorcycle Club (IGMC), also known as the IG’s, is a national South African motorcycle club founded in 2016 by National President Ivan Gray and co-founder Ursula Gray. Drawing on decades of experience in South Africa’s biking community, the founders established the club around respect, brotherhood, honour and enjoyment of riding. The club welcomes both male and female riders and has chapters across the country, including in Johannesburg and Pretoria.
Its identity is represented by a patch designed by Ursula Gray and inspired by Chinese Guardian lions, symbols associated with power and protection. Members follow the club’s values and its interpretation of eight old-school biking rules, applying them to club conduct and everyday life. IGMC coordinates its chapters through a National Chapter and National Executive Council, which oversees club management, dispute resolution, disciplinary hearings and its charity arm, an NPO. The club also provides information about membership levels and biking culture, and shares club news, events and rides.
