Immortal Poetry is an online poetry collection and literature resource for readers interested in discovering poems across eras, authors, and themes. The site presents poetry as a stimulating alternative to television and invites visitors to explore works by both established writers and contributors represented in its database. Readers can browse poems by title, author, decade, topic, or language, including English, Norwegian, and Swedish poetry.

The collection spans centuries and features well-known poets such as Walt Whitman, Emily Dickinson, Christina Rossetti, and Ella Wheeler Wilcox, alongside a broad selection of other works. Visitors can find love poems, seasonal writing, poems about life and death, and other themed selections, or use random poem and random page links to discover something unexpected. Immortal Poetry also offers poetry collections, literary works such as Sun Tzu’s The Art of War, and a selection of quotes.

The site encourages readers to share poems and contribute by adding poems or uploading files, while providing author indexes, recent additions, and updates on new pages
