About Immunization Coalition of Los Angeles County
The Immunization Coalition of Los Angeles County (ICLAC) is a diverse and grassroots community-based partnership aiming to improve access to medically recommended immunizations for adults and adolescents in Los Angeles County. This coalition consists of a wide range of stakeholders, including hospitals, schools, clinics, health department programs, pharmacies, health plans, vaccine companies, and non-profit organizations.
ICLAC offers a variety of resources and services to support immunization efforts in the county. These include providing information about where to get vaccinated, offering parent and child vaccine guides, and hosting community outreach meetings. They also publish news updates and resources to keep the public informed about the latest developments in immunization.
In addition to their focus on immunizations, ICLAC also addresses other public health issues. They recently held a forum on COVID-19 vaccines and offered free at-home COVID-19 tests. They are also committed to training 500,000 residents of Los Angeles County in Hands-Only CPR.
By joining ICLAC, individuals and organizations can contribute to improving immunization coverage across the lifespan of Los Angeles County residents. Stay informed and subscribe to their newsletter to receive the latest updates on immunizations and public health initiatives.
