About Impact Lab
Social Venture Management Internship offers a 6-credit experiential learning course where students can work with social ventures guided by faculty and professional mentors. By managing teams and solving real-life challenges, students enhance their soft skills and apply academic concepts practically, boosting their employability. This course, available in both semesters, provides valuable hands-on business experience.
Social entrepreneurship, a growing trend globally and particularly in Hong Kong, merges business education with social impact to address societal needs. Students dedicate 10 hours weekly to their assigned companies, attending orientation sessions and optional seminars. Open to students from all faculties, including exchange students, the course requires early application due to limited placements.
