ImpairMaster

ImpairMaster is a medical software brand focused on making impairment ratings faster, clearer, and easier to complete. Innovating in the impairment rating process since 1983, the company provides cloud-based software for individual practitioners and group practices, including healthcare professionals working in medical-legal settings. Its platform uses guided, point-and-click exam forms to help users record measurements and prepare impairment ratings based on commonly used chapters of the AMA Guides.

ImpairMaster supports assessments across multiple areas, including the spine, upper and lower extremities, nervous system, pain, heart and aorta, digestive and reproductive systems, skin, blood, and endocrine system. Reports include cross-references to relevant AMA Guides page and table numbers, helping users explain and source their ratings. Reports are professionally formatted and editable in Microsoft Word, while educational explanations of calculations support both beginners and experienced practitioners. The service is accessible online and is offered with a free-start option, alongside subscription pricing and customer support.
