Imperial Entrepreneurs

Foundry is the founder community at Imperial College London, built by students to connect people developing startups with the experience and support to move forward. Its free, private network brings together current students, recent graduates, alumni founders, mentors, angel investors, and Imperial staff and faculty. Student access is verified through an Imperial email address, while alumni are admitted after an administrative check.

Members can create profiles highlighting their skills, sector interests, projects, and goals. Smart matching helps surface relevant connections, whether someone is seeking a co-founder, funding, beta users, work opportunities, or simply a chance to contribute. Foundry also shares jobs, internships, and grants posted by alumni founders and other organisations, with roles spanning areas such as biotech, fintech, and deep technology.

The community’s events include networking sessions, startup demo nights, hackathons, and one-to-one office hours with angel investors. By bringing founders and supporters together through warm introductions and practical opportunities, Foundry helps strengthen the Imperial startup ecosystem and makes it easier for members to build something real together.
