The Improv Company is Singapore's first and biggest school of improvisational theatre and comedy. With a mission to nurture and champion improv in Singapore, they produce professional-quality shows and talent, making improv accessible to everyone. Founded in October 2013, The Improv Company started as NUS Stage's Improvables, a university improv troupe.
Their love for improv led them to establish the Company and spread the joy of improv to a wider audience. They offer a range of classes, from beginner to advanced, and regularly produce shows and work with improv experts. The Improv Company has seen tremendous growth over the years, hosting the first Singapore Improv Festival in 2016 and the successful Festival in 2018, featuring performers from all over the Asia-Pacific.
They have also performed internationally and conducted workshops in different countries. With a dedicated team of co-founders and coaches, The Improv Company continues to advance the art of improv in Singapore, growing the community of improvisers and providing top-notch training and performances
