About Improving Lives
Improving Lives, formerly known as Clydebank Disability Group, is a registered charity dedicated to enhancing the lives of individuals with disabilities, their families, and caregivers. Founded by Kevin Crawford and his wife Dhyani in 2017, the organization has rapidly grown to provide a wide range of essential services. From offering information on available support and resources to creating personalized support plans and advocating for disability rights, Improving Lives is committed to making a difference.
Additionally, they host community events, support groups, and even offer unique programs like disability martial arts. Despite being donation-driven, the charity has expanded its reach, employing five staff members and becoming a Disability Confident Employer. With a focus on collaboration and community engagement, Improving Lives strives to be the go-to hub for all disability-related needs in West Dunbartonshire and beyond.
