About Houkura
The Independent Māori Statutory Board is a brand that operates as an independent body corporate consisting of nine members in Auckland. Under the Local Government (Auckland Council) Act 2009, this board has been granted specific responsibilities and powers to advocate for Māori interests to the Auckland Council.
