IMSLP

The International Music Score Library Project (IMSLP), also known as the Petrucci Music Library, is an online resource for discovering and sharing public-domain music. Its collection brings together works by composers from many countries and periods, with materials spanning a wide range of instruments and musical genres. Visitors can browse scores by composer, genre, nationality, time period, instrumentation, or difficulty, and search for music by melody.

The library also provides recordings, composer and performer indexes, and information about publishers and commercial recordings. Users can explore featured works and recent additions, take part in forums and wiki discussions, or contribute by submitting scores and recordings. IMSLP offers downloadable sheet music, including complete scores and parts, and provides membership options, donations, and links to purchase scores and parts.

The site reports hundreds of thousands of works and scores, alongside millions of score pages and a substantial recording collection. Its stated aim is to share the world’s public-domain music while operating in accordance with applicable copyright policies
