PT INALUM

PT Indonesia Asahan Aluminium (INALUM) is an Indonesian state-owned company and the country’s largest aluminium producer. Founded in 1976 and headquartered in Batu Bara Regency, North Sumatra, it is a pioneer in Indonesia’s aluminium smelting industry and a member of the MIND ID mining industry holding. Its operations include the Kuala Tanjung aluminium smelter and hydropower facilities that use the Asahan River, whose waters flow from Lake Toba, to supply electricity for production.
