Apeldoorn Partners

Apeldoorn is a city and municipality in the Netherlands, presented as the green and spacious capital of the Veluwe. Set beside the Veluwe, described on its website as the country’s largest contiguous natural area, Apeldoorn offers room to live, work, study and enjoy leisure. Its leafy neighbourhoods, city parks and access to nature shape the city’s identity, while the historic Paleis Het Loo reflects its royal associations. Centrally located in the Netherlands, Apeldoorn is also home to innovative businesses, including Remeha and Achmea, and has strengths in energy transition, safety, tourism and government.

The Apeldoorn website helps residents, visitors, businesses and prospective students explore what the city offers. It provides information and inspiration for leisure activities, attractions, family outings, shopping, events, walking and cycling routes, and seasonal visits. It also features guidance on living, studying, working and doing business in Apeldoorn, as well as resources for organising conferences and events.
