About Institute of Awesome
Introducing Camps - The Institute of Awesome, an eco-lodge that offers reimagined school camp experiences and retreats. At the Institute, we have a plan to change the world for good, and we invite schools and community groups to join us in this mission. Our aim is to provide students with a deeper connection to the natural world through innovation, leadership, and technology.
Our camps are jam-packed with skill-building workshops, secret projects, and fun nighttime activities. We offer a range of themes or "secret projects" each camp season, focused on unique challenges and hands-on learning experiences. Students work on projects that solve real-world problems, covering areas like monitoring waterways, tracking pests, measuring CO2, and growing organic food.
