Inbolt is a robotics software brand that brings artificial intelligence and 3D vision to industrial automation. Its platform helps new and existing robots identify parts and adjust their movements in real time, including when parts vary or move along a production line. Using a robot-mounted 3D camera and a vision model trained from CAD files, the system locates parts without requiring datasets or manual image labeling.
Inbolt offers three core capabilities: a vision model for recognizing parts, CAD-based robot programming to create and validate trajectories, and a control layer that streams motion corrections to compatible robots. The platform supports robots from FANUC, ABB, KUKA, Yaskawa, Universal Robots and Comau. Applications include bin picking, pick and place, de-racking, fastening and dispensing.
Manufacturers can use Inbolt to retrofit existing stations or equip new workstations, with deployment designed to take days rather than months. The company reports use in more than 100 factories and over 40 million robot cycles in 2025. Its customers include Stellantis, Ford, thyssenkrupp and Beko.
