About INCLUDE Platform
INCLUDE Platform is an African-Dutch knowledge platform that brings together researchers, practitioners, and policymakers to promote inclusive development in Africa. We are committed to generating, gathering, and disseminating evidence-based knowledge to support the creation of better and more inclusive development policies in Africa and the Netherlands. Our platform was initiated by the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs in 2012 and works through research, policy dialogues, and knowledge sharing.
Inclusive development is our focus, aiming to ensure that more people benefit from economic growth and development, reducing poverty and inequality. We believe that inclusive policies can only be achieved if vulnerable groups are involved in the decision-making process, supported by strategic actors from both states and society. Our dedicated team of professionals, including platform members, a steering group, and a secretariat, works tirelessly to make evidence accessible to policymakers and practitioners.
