IndabaX Madagascar is a community-focused event dedicated to artificial intelligence, machine learning and deep learning in Madagascar. Established in 2022 as a local edition of the IndabaX conference, which was initiated by the Deep Learning Indaba in 2018, it brings together researchers and enthusiasts to share knowledge and explore developments in these fields. The event also sits within a broader focus on digital resilience: Madagascar CyberFest, presented by Datakanto with IACAIP (UK) and the Cybersafe Foundation, addresses cybersecurity, AI and digital transformation, while the Indian Ocean Cyber Forum convenes regional professionals, students and experts for awareness, training and cyber resilience. Together, these initiatives create opportunities for learning, discussion and collaboration across Madagascar’s technology community.
