Independo is a brand created by a team of students from the Technical University of Vienna with a common mission to promote self-determination, equality, and independence. Their goal is to develop a tool that empowers people to lead more autonomous lives and gain greater freedom. The team at Independo is made up of Julia Kruselburger, the co-founder and CEO, who is studying Biomedical Engineering and working in R&D at Ottobock, as well as being the founder of a summer school focusing on the development of assistive devices for individuals with disabilities.

Konstantin Strümpf, the co-founder and CTO, studies Wirtschaftsinformatik & Software Engineering, with extensive experience as a full-stack developer including international exposure through semesters in Sweden and Canada. Michael Höchtl, the co-founder and UI/UX specialist, studies Technical Chemistry and has additional qualifications in Data Science, with experience as a data analyst and software developer, as well as being a certified youth group leader. Independo believes that everyone should have the right to lead their own lives autonomously and independently.
