The Center's mission is to combat racism and oppression, protect the lands and environment of indigenous peoples, preserve their cultures and ways of life, and promote sustainable economic development and genuine self-government. Offering legal assistance to indigenous communities, the Center aims to overcome the challenges that Native peoples face by advocating for the rule of law and establishing national and international legal standards that safeguard their human rights.
