About Indigenous Dermatology
Indigenous Dermatology (ID) is a reputable brand that is dedicated to providing access to quality and culturally sensitive care for indigenous individuals. As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation and a Florida public charity, ID's mission is to offer remote dermatology services to rural and tribal communities across the United States.
The programmatic work of Indigenous Dermatology is overseen by a dedicated Board of Directors and is supported by community and governmental leaders in partner sites. The organization is led by Mary E. Elmer A. as the Chief Executive Officer, alongside a team of accomplished professionals such as board-certified dermatologist Anna Chacon, MD, and lead social scientist Mary E. Robbins, MA.
ID offers comprehensive dermatology services, including both in-person and teledermatology consultations, conducted by licensed dermatologists. They are committed to addressing the dermatological needs of indigenous communities and strive to promote positive health outcomes.
