IndigiNews is an Indigenous-led online journalism platform based in Canada. Our mission is to amplify the voices and perspectives of Indigenous Peoples, creating a space where their stories are heard, understood, and respected. As one of the few Indigenous-led journalism outlets in the world, we prioritize cultural safety, health, and well-being, as well as a decolonized mindset in everything that we do.

Through our platform, Indigenous journalists report on a wide range of topics, including news, features, arts, first-person narratives, and deep dives. We cover issues that are important to Indigenous communities, such as police accountability, environmental challenges, and cultural preservation. Our goal is to provide digital journalism that is driven by the needs of Indigenous communities and contributes to the long-term sustainability of independent Indigenous-centered media.
