Kim Soles

Indigo Nature Arts is a Philadelphia-area children’s program founded and directed by Kim Soles. For more than 14 years, it has created opportunities for children to connect with nature, explore their creativity, and learn through hands-on experiences. Its programs take place in natural landscapes, where children are encouraged to unplug, play, observe, and express themselves at their own pace.

Indigo Nature Arts offers seasonal camps, art and photography classes, workshops, and winter programming. Its outdoor summer camp, serving children ages 5–12, features activities such as creek exploration, trail hikes, wildlife observation, natural science, imaginative art, painting, drawing, and handwork. The organization now offers smaller, focused camp weeks rather than a full summer-long schedule. Afterschool classes provide further opportunities for creative exploration; Stitch & Style, for example, invites children to transform sweaters and other materials into original wearable or useful art. Guided by caring educators, Indigo Nature Arts aims to nurture wonder, confidence, friendship, and healthy development through play and creativity.
