The Indianapolis Capitols are a professional football club returning to the Continental Football League as a 2027 member. Based in Central Indiana, the team is preparing for its return to play and building its organization under Team President and Managing Partner Lauren Boczek. Former Indianapolis Colts and Dallas Cowboys kicker Mike Vanderjagt has been appointed Head Coach and General Manager. The club has also announced Canadian Football Hall of Fame quarterback Damon Allen as Offensive Coordinator, former West Virginia All-American Tyler Orlosky as Offensive Line Coach, and former Colts long snapper Justin Snow as a Special Teams Consultant.

The Capitols invite prospective players to register for free-agent tryouts for the 2027 team. The scheduled evaluation includes speed, agility and jumping tests, position-specific workouts, and one-on-one matchups; kickers, punters and long snappers have a separate afternoon session. Registration requires player details, football experience and statistics, film upload, and payment by the stated deadline. The website also offers a team shop and subscription option, with a new site announced as coming soon.
