About Infantário da Pena
Infantário da Pena is an early childhood education centre operated by the Centro Social Paroquial da Pena, a nonprofit Private Institution of Social Solidarity in Lisbon, Portugal. Located at Vila Serra, on Calçada de Santana, the centre provides two educational services: creche, or nursery care, and pré-escolar, or preschool. Its preschool programme is described as the first stage of basic education and is intended to support the balanced development of children aged three to five. The centre also serves younger children through its nursery provision, including a baby room and several named classroom groups.
To support its educational work, the Centro Social Paroquial da Pena has cooperation agreements with Portugal’s Institute of Social Security for the nursery service and the Lisbon Regional Directorate of Education for preschool. The organisation shares information about its educational project, facilities, daily operations, curricular and complementary activities, enrolment, schedules, meals, and financial reports. Families can contact the centre by telephone or email for enquiries about its services and registration.
