InfoTracer is an online public-records search service that helps users look up information associated with people, phone numbers, email addresses, usernames, and locations across the United States. The site says its database covers more than five billion public records and offers searches for arrest and criminal records, court records and judgments, assets, property, liens, bankruptcy, vital records, and professional licenses. Additional tools include address and email lookups, inmate and driving-record searches, social-profile and deep-web searches, and plate and VIN checks.

Users can select a state to narrow a search, and the site indicates that detailed record results may require registration or purchase of a report. InfoTracer cautions that information is drawn from public and private sources and may not be accurate or complete. It states that it is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act, and its information must not be used for FCRA-regulated decisions such as evaluating someone for employment, credit, insurance, or housing
