Ingegneri Africani

AIA-Associazione Ingegneri Africani is an organization focused on international cooperation, sustainable development, and the contribution of engineering and technical expertise to social and economic progress. Its projects connect Italy and African countries through practical initiatives in education, employment, energy, water access, health, and migration. Activities include technical and scientific training for dignified employment in Cameroon, support for the energy transition in healthcare, and programs combining ecological transition with digital education.

AIA also works on access to drinking water and appropriate technologies in rural communities, renewable energy, environmental awareness, and climate justice. Its initiatives span countries including Cameroon, Côte d’Ivoire, Senegal, and Ethiopia, and include support for migrant women’s social enterprises and co-development projects. The association promotes professional exchange and educational opportunities, including a master’s program in low-tech circular economy focused on Europe and Africa.

Its events and calls also support young people with migration backgrounds and provide opportunities to contribute to international projects. Through these efforts, AIA brings together engineering, training, and cooperation to address community needs
