About Inits
INiTS, Vienna's High Tech Incubator, was established in 2002 by the University of Vienna, the Vienna University of Technology, and the Vienna Business Agency. Its primary objective is to promote the commercialization of research and development results through spin-offs and start-ups in the academic environment. Recognized by UBI Global as one of the world's leading university incubators since 2013, INiTS is the number one incubator in the German-speaking region.
As the Vienna-based incubator of the AplusB Scale-up Program, INiTS has expanded its range of services by introducing the START:IP technology marketplace and the STARTKapital financing instrument while complementing it with the Health Hub Vienna acceleration program. INiTS serves as a central hub for technology startups, investors, companies, universities, and research institutions
