Inkbox

Inkbox is an identity and communication layer for AI agents, developed by Vectorly, Inc. and backed by Y Combinator. It gives an agent a unified identity with an email inbox, phone number, iMessage access, and an internet address, allowing people and services to contact it across channels. Agents can send and receive emails, texts, calls, and iMessages, while applications can reach them through a direct endpoint. Inkbox also supports Agent2Agent communication, enabling agents to contact one another, hand off work, and return results.

The platform connects conversations across email, texts, and calls so an agent can retain context about a person when communication moves between channels. Users can control who is allowed to reach each agent on each channel. Inkbox offers ways to create and provision identities through its SDK, CLI, and plugins, and provides integrations for agent tools and platforms including Claude, ChatGPT, Grok, Hermes, Codex, and OpenCode. Its documentation and setup guides help users configure an agent’s identity and communication capabilities.
