Inkbox is an identity and communication platform for AI agents, designed to help them connect with people, applications, and other agents. Backed by Y Combinator, the company provides each agent with a unified identity that can include an email inbox, phone number, iMessage access, and a direct internet address. Agents can use these channels to send and receive messages, make and answer calls, follow up, and start conversations.

Inkbox links communications across channels so an agent can retain context about the person it is interacting with, rather than treating every email, text, or call as a separate thread. Its Agent2Agent capability also lets agents contact one another, hand off tasks, and return results directly. Users can control who is able to reach each agent on each channel.

Agents can create an identity themselves or be provisioned through Inkbox’s SDK, CLI, or plugins. The service offers integrations for agent tools and environments including Claude, ChatGPT, Hermes, Claude Code, Codex, and OpenCode, alongside documentation, pricing information, and setup guides.
