Inkermezzo is a brand created by Megan Chartier, a professional classical cellist who also has a passion for art. The brand's name is derived from the words ink and intermezzo, reflecting Megan's integration of her artistic and musical talents. An intermezzo is a musical movement performed between major sections of a composition, and Megan creates artwork in between her rehearsals and performances.

She aims to bring life to intricate details and uses her skills to educate, raise awareness, and promote activism. Currently, her work focuses on political, racial, and gender topics within the classical music industry. Megan began drawing seriously at the age of 12 and has received numerous commissions and awards for her artwork.

Despite choosing to pursue music at the collegiate level, she continues to create art as a way to unwind and celebrate classical musicians and artists. Inkermezzo offers both commissioned pieces and select original artworks for sale, with a focus on making pieces accessible for classroom and teaching studio use. Bulk sticker orders and wholesale ordering for resale are also available on a case-by-case basis.

All orders are shipped from Megan's home studio in California or her art printer in Kansas
